I am a Board Certified Massage Therapist by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, as well as Licensed by the State of New Mexico and Maine.
While growing up in Portland, Maine, I always dreamed of becoming a massage therapist. I enjoy working with all types of people with a goal of improving their wellness through body work. I provide different modalities of massage, from Relaxation, to Deep Tissue Therapy, focusing on my client’s individual needs.
In 2012, I graduated from the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro, Maine, with a concentration in Swedish Massage and Sports Massage.
Then in 2013, I graduated from the Acadia School of Massage in Bar Harbor, Maine, with a certification in Hot Stone Massage.
In 2022 I graduated from the Southwest Reiki Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with certifications in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level 1, 2, 3, and Reiki Master Teacher.
In 2023 I graduated from the True Healing Project in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with a certification in Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher.
An active member of the Maine Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association, I volunteer as part of the AMTA Maine Sports Massage Team by working on athletes participating in events such as the Maine Marathon, Mount Desert Island Marathon, and the Beach to Beacon 10k.
I also enjoy volunteering at Camp Sunshine located in Casco, Maine. Camp Sunshine is a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their family through various stages of a child's illness. It is the only full-time facility in the nation whose sole purpose is to provide respite for the whole family. I particularly enjoy volunteering massage therapy at the Bereavement Session, which is offered for families who have experienced the death of a child from an illness.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking with my husband, Nick and our standard poodle, Benji.
We have traveled to many National Parks throughout the country to take part in these activities.
